Colossians 1:22 (S8W Ministries Online Assembly)

Embedded Assembly Video follows notes:

God is knowledge. God is love. To know the love of God we must know His knowledge.

To know knowledge, we must learn His language. As His knowledge is pure, so must we learn of His pure language. (Zephaniah 3:9)

To learn the language, we learn the alphabet which is made up of letters.

But the letters are not the alphabet and the alphabet is not the language and the language is not the knowledge. Each is a representation portion of the source.

Christ is the word of God because all of these parts are made full through contact with Him. But apart from Him none of these can give expression to the power of His virtue. The love of God is the expression of that power which proceeds forth from His fullness: Christ. To know Him we must be joined to Him and to be joined to Him we must know how.

The letter cannot identify its source but the word carries His Name. Letter is without context for discernment and so does precept upon precept cause one to fall backwards.

"But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken." (Isaiah 28:13)

Isaiah was speaking of those who were trying to learn the word by studying the letters. While the letters came out from the word, they are not the word. To know Him in truth we must be working with His stewardship and Spirit for this is the Word of God.

God Must Reveal Christ for Faith to be Found Perfect in Him

I had a rather angry person on Facebook send me this message, "There are no NEW REVELAIONS, it the same Word of God that has been settled in heaven for eternity and always accomplishes what HE PLEASES."

He was implying that revelation from God deviates from God. This irrational fear comes from lacking discernment which comes through instruction in truth by living apostles of Christ. When we have the foundation of truth laid within our hearts by living apostles, we are able to try the spirits to see if they be of God.

Why would the apostles give this commandment if the Lord was ceasing to communicate with His people through dreams, visions, and manifold graces? Why would Jesus promise to manifest Himself to those of us who assembly in His Name? Jesus and His apostles would've said, the heavens are closing... you can be sure that anything from here on out is NOT of God. Would make for some easy discernment no?

But they did not say this because THAT would contradict His own pattern and plan for the redemption of our souls. Rejecting instruction in sound doctrine from living stewards of the mystery of Christ and rejecting the daily tokens of His grace shows a lack of heavenly wisdom.

The letter cannot bring you into the Name of the Lord. Only God can do that by revelation. The letter is in part but Christ is the fullness of God. This is why His gospel in truth remains a mystery to the carnal minded even though they daily study His inspired writings. Jesus is the open sign but Christ is the concealed sign. While all men could see Jesus, not all can perceive Christ.

Matthew 16:17
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Proximity to Christ Measured by Quality of Faith

Proximity to the Altar of Christ is measured by frequency of sanctified function at the altar. The further we find ourselves from the Altar, the more difficult it is to see clearly our way back to the Altar.

What I mean by proximity being measured by frequency is that when we are not functioning in our priesthood, we are moving away from the Altar simply by natural laws of centrifugal force. The Altar/priesthood/stewardship is the hub of the wheel. When there, we are abiding there, we are not affected by that force which draws us away from the center. But when we are not functioning, we are carried out from the hub by the tides of life.
If frequency (visits per hour or even visits per week) wanes, then the brightness of our hope fades... contact and proximity matters. We don't have to actively wander from the altar for this to happen... lack of frequency will reduce proximity too... just by neglect and the effects of undertow or centrifugal force. Wandering just reduces proximity that much faster. Like swimming aggressively away from the shore makes it harder to identify the spot on the beach from which you entered the water.

So then, we show wisdom by keeping our vessels full of faith, not putting aside opportunities to function as porters at the gate of the temple but taking every thought captive. This means we are taking every thought and weighing it upon the scale of the sanctuary against the standard of God's throne. When we let them go unmeasured, we grow jaded in our thinking as they begin to multiply and gather around our gates... and we begin to feel as if we are under siege by them… which is correct… and that clouds thinking, removes focus, and soon we find thoughts wandering in and out freely though our gates.

When we take thoughts captive by taking the time to weigh them and measure them on the King’s scales, we are not giving them freedom of expression. We are also, with great frequency, drawing nigh unto God (for His Altar/Priesthood/Stewardship is the scale).

This is why faith cannot stand without a priesthood sanctified by the altar of Christ. We cannot build our own. For if we were to introduce anything less than Christ to our service of faith, we would be forced to use our own scale (For the Lord will not grant access to His scales without perfect faith. While we may be neglecting our gates, He does not neglect His.)

Law of liberty through faith in Christ

I woke from a dream at 1:30 this morning about people setting a challenge of the moral code for me. At 3:30 I woke and saw a vision of my response being posted with a quoted scripture. They were using my words and their prejudiced interpretation of this verse against me as to say, "Ha! We caught you!"

My reflection, "Why would I seek justification in the moral code when God justifies faith in Christ?"
Being justified by faith grants us liberty to stand in the Light of His perspective.

Its tempting to think this liberty gives license to freely express our moods. Asking scale questions helps address these misconceptions.

What kingdom would that give expression too?

Does this draw faith from the heart our sympathy for flesh?

Using our liberty means we are not seeking shelter in mans approval but that does not mean we are free to offend men. Even Michael the archangel brought not railing accusation against Satan. So to do we show wisdom by allowing grace and truth to bridle the tongue.

For as we guard the gate of our soul from false knowledge gaining entrance, so too are we of need to guard the gate from old man who shouts from within for a sympathetic ear.

Making Provision for Faith

I Woke with this reflection: "make provision for faith." We do this by taking necessary steps to keep ourselves mindful of our responsibility of faith in Christ all throughout the day.

Romans 13:14   But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

We are planning for faith when we take steps to set our lives to order around times for prayer, study, reflection, and reciprocation. We are builders. Wise builders make plans to supply themselves with necessary materials at the necessary times so as to avoid wasted time caused by lack of preparation.

Even though they know they can't control every detail of the day, they make provision for that which they can control. We do the same by planning times for prayer, having flash cards or index cards ready, having pens or recording devices ready... We want to facilitate priestly duty. This is our calling. We are born kings and called priests (Revelations 1:6). But first, as heirs to His throne, we must be consecrated through preparation for service.

1 Chronicles 29:19   And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.

This one is really good too. We require provisioning to stand before the King.

Daniel 1:5   And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

Of course, Daniel was being offered the meat offered to idols in that case and asked permission to rely upon the provision of Christ instead:

Daniel  1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

1:14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.

1:15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

1:19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.

Scale question, I'm I accepting provision from the enemy or from the Lord?

Colossians 1:21-22 (S8W Ministries Online Assembly)

Everything that came out from Him is less than Himself but has made a plan within Himself to create a path back to Himself through the joining of Himself within our hearts that the hostilities which exist between us (by this inequity) would be reconciled by Him. Thus purging the conscience that His light may be fully received within the heart and reflected back to Him without spot or blemish.

The conscience is made pure, perfect, and purged by our activity of faith in the new covenant priesthood of Christ. This is our true hope which seed was concealed within the conscience but is awakened by grace and nourished by truth and nurtured by the will of God... even as the mustard seed. So then the tree is greater than the seed and it is the fruit on the branches of the tree which the Father takes pleasure in for this is Christ in us, our hope of glory. (Paul brings all of this out in Colossians 1)

Satan Distorts the Image of Christ to Restrict Faith to the Shadows of Darkness

I woke with a vision last Sunday (4/14/2013) in which I saw screen distortion... Non native settings. Same image, wrong aspect ratio. Took knowledge of the correct image to recognize the problem and make remedy.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

The image on the left might look fine if it was the first time you saw it. Without anything to compare it to, you might think nothing of the distortion. The words can still be read. The colors can still be seen. But when you compare it with the image on the right, the distortion becomes quite evident. The one on the left is now noticeably blurry and while some may have noticed the ovals in the picture on the left, it becomes much more obvious that the intended image was actually a circle when both pictures in view.

I shared about this vision in our home assembly last week and then yesterday at work, the Lord reminded me of it by sending somebody to ask me about their screen distortion on their computer. They had already asked for others to help them but the others told them it looked fine and that their eyes must just be tired or something like that. I walked over to his office with him and it was immediately evident that he was correct in seeing the distortion. It was even more obvious after opening up a computer drafting image of a round part which was showing up as an oval on his screen. I adjusted his settings and there were two choices that gave him round circles... one was just slightly blurred and the other was crisp and clear. So even within the right aspect ratio, there were pixel alignment issues which could produce a blurring of the image making it slightly harder to see.

This is what Satan tries to do with Man beginning with Adam. He wants to distort what we remember about what God makes known for faith. God had given Adam clear instruction... eat any fruit from any tree in the garden except one (Gen 2:16-17).

Let's look at how Satan used his whiles to distort Eve (and Adam's) perspective of what God had said:

Genesis 3:1-5
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

We see that she knew what God had commanded. She was not ignorant of that original communication from God which made known the outcome she could expect from disobedience. The reward for faith (obeying His voice) would be to continue in the presence of God without being separated from Him (death).
Satan took what God had said, and revised it. He did not provide a completely different image for them... but worked the knowledge God had given them to put it within his perspective instead. While God had provided contrast for testing and reward, Satan framed that same knowledge to be seen (from his perspective) as God keeping them from their true potential. As if God were in fear of them competing with Him and choosing instead to keep them in the dark to make sure they don't become a threat to Him. This is how Satan thinks because Satan views God with this same eye of envy and distrust. He didn't like it when he learned of God's plan to give far greater glory and honor to Adam than to His angels who were created first (the elder would serve the younger - Romans 9:12)

Now Eve had two images to consider... she had first generation knowledge from God and she had further generation knowledge which was an altered copy of what God had first said to them. Having received revelation from God, she was now facing a contradiction which required a choice. She could obey the voice of the Lord or obey the voice of Satan. She was facing a choice between two kingdoms. One of Light and one of darkness.

Light has to do with knowledge which remains joined to God by the power of His will.
Darkness has to do with knowledge which brings separation from Him by the power of one's own will.

Let's see what they decided to do:

Genesis 3:6-8
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

When they SAW from Satan's perspective... this show which knowledge they allowed to frame their perspective. Had they chosen to reflect upon what God had said, Satan would've fled from them and had to find a new strategy (James 4:7).

As it turns out... God had given them good information. While Satan's distortion made sense to them and confirmed the logic of their newly formed thinking pattern (being framed by the lie.) This is how Satan continues operation today. He doesn't tell everybody to commit unspeakable acts of horror... he provides subtle distortions of truth to create false forms of worship... places of worship with an unsanctified priesthood or no altar at all. Or offers strange fire for the altar (Leviticus 10:1).

Notice what took place here... in verse 7 of Genesis 3... Their eyes were open. They had not been blind. In verse 6 we see that they saw the tree. What does this mean that their eyes were now opened as a result of choosing Satan's counsel over God's commandment? They were seeing everything from God's perspective and did not see by the light of the sun. For in God's presence, the sun was as a dimly lit bulb. They were not seeing the environment that God had formed them in and hadn't yet been subjected to it. It had not been dominating their thinking and their perspectives. It was all around them and they were formed from the substance of it... but they were seeing things in the Light of another Kingdom and dimension... until now. Now their eyes were opened to the darkness of this dimension which is the lowest of the heavens (and furthest removed from the Throne room of God in the 7th heaven.)

Let's look at something else that changed here now that their eyes were open... their conscience became defiled (causing spiritual blindness.) In Genesis 2:25, we see that before this time of testing and disobedience, they had a different testimony: "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed."

But now they were naked and ASHAMED. Naked has to do with lacking fruit and substance to present to God. The soul of man was created to be a vessel of the substance of God's glory (His virtue). They had been created without substance... empty vessels with a hunger to gain new experience and substance. At that point, their lack of substance did not cause them shame because they had not yet taken on any substance... good or evil. So they were naked but NOT ashamed.

Now that they had considered Satan's counsel and allowed it to conceive thoughts within their minds and nurtured those thoughts until they were acted upon and thus committed themselves to working with his counsel and perspective... they were naked and ASHAMED. Still without fruit unto God but now carrying with them a strange new substance which they had not known before... death. This is the fruit of iniquity.

Now the state of their conscience was darkened and they saw all things through that clutter... causing them to become spiritually blind (or blind to God's perspective which they had originally.)

Note also that what Satan said to them made logical sense to them and was true... not truth... but true. He had simply shifted the meaning of God's words to make new connections and draw new conclusions. They did not die physically... they died spiritually. God had spoken from His perspective as Spirit and Satan had spoken from the perspective of this world. Also, while they only knew God prior to eating of the forbidden fruit, now they knew another... They had lost KNOWledge of God and gained KNOWledge of Satan. Now they were seeing everything (including God) from Satan's perspective.

How do we know this? Let's look at how their relationship with God changed. In Genesis 2 we see that God had fellowship with Adam and brought the animals to Adam who had been given knowledge to name them all. God was not creeping in the shadows of the garden but communicating with Adam who was remaining in contact with Him... without barriers. As we saw, he was yet naked but not ashamed.

But now.. as we see in Genesis 3:8, they are hiding themselves from the presence of God. Note also that in verse 7, they attempted to cover their shame with leaves severed from the fig tree. This did not work and they attempted to further conceal themselves from God.

The imagination could not join them back to God... the severed fig leaves could not restore the state of their conscience. They were now in need of a remedy which the could not find within this world or within themselves. Looking within themselves to discern between that which God had commanded and that which Satan had suggested already proved itself to produce error in thinking, not faith in the heart. That pattern is still called vain labor because it remains absent of the power God restricted to Himself to make remedy.

God made known His promise to redeem them from darkness and join them back to Himself. He promised to personally provide for this. But they would have to wait for the time appointed by Him. They would need to exercise faith with reflection upon His promise to keep themselves in mind of Him now that the word around them was dominating their attention.

"For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent." (Zephaniah 3:9)

"He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities." (Isaiah 53:11)

God raises up stewards of His holy ordered knowledge to reset the bone which was broken by application of His grace and truth with experienced knowledge. The breaking of the bone has to do with the severing of His knowledge from His perspective and thinking. When the bone is broken, faith stands independent and grows weary. Without stewardship we lack knowledge to navigate and find ourselves spinning our wheels and seeking direction. God gives clear direction for faith through instruction in the pure language of His Kingdom and makes known the ordered activity of the new covenant priesthood which we learn to function in by His Spirit. As we learn of Him by the preaching of His Word, we gain the perspective of His throne and stand in the fullness of His Name and no longer fight to maintain the uniqueness of every letter.

Let us instruct you in the way of righteousness: http://www.s8wministries.org/general.php?id=10

Colossians 1:17-20 (S8W Ministries Online Assembly)

Embedded Assembly Video follows notes:

Col 1:1 Paul identifying the house of His stewardship. Of Jesus Christ and not of Moses.

Hebrews 3:5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

Paul is speaking of those things which were to be spoken after. Not of the open signs of Moses or in the open signs identifying Jesus as Christ but in the new house established by Christ beginning with His ascension and the pouring out of His Spirit to initiate His new house within the hearts of sons and daughters who would be born again not of water but by the fire of His Spirit.

Col 1:5 You heard of the hope laid up for you in heaven. The Lord has awakened you to our true hope of returning to our true origin through faith in Jesus Christ. Even as Christ Jesus went before us to stand ready at the door to receive all those who follow after Him in grace and suffering now.

  • Speaking of another kingdom than that which we were born into.
  • Speaking of another power than that which we had become accustomed to
  • Speaking of another Name that that which we had become identified with.
  • Speaking of another House, another pattern, another offspring.

  • Col 1:6 Heard and knew grace in truth. Recognition of stewardship. Receiving us apostles even as Christ that your fellowship with Him be sanctified by Him. (Galatians 4:14)

Col 1:9 Our stewardship is necessary for you to be filled with the knowledge of His will. God raises up His own stewards to give direction for faith and knowledge for testing the spirits.

Col 1:10 Might walk worthy: If you do, the outcome is predictable: Pleasing (not repenting), fruitful (substance born of Him), increasing in His knowledge (gaining new understanding through new experience as Christ is continually manifesting Himself to you as promised.)

This fruit cannot be of our own kind. For even as we were born strangers to God without knowledge of this hope reserved in heaven by Him for us, so too does He find fault with our own fruit even when we desire to offer it to Him with all sincerity. Zeal is no substitute for faith.

I had the word of knowledge, “Artificial Insemination” come to mind this morning. This brought to mind a recent radio program discussing this technology which I hadn’t found interesting at the time. But upon receiving this word of knowledge, I reflected upon this with interest concerning what the Spirit was communicating to me for my understanding.

God concealed a prototype of this process of fruitbearing and increase in the virgin birth of Christ. In this, we see how we must also now bear fruit for another kingdom, another house, another Name. Mary was symbolic of our souls which must be joined to the power and presence of God to bear for Him. Christ is the seed of the Father (1 Peter 1:23).

Through this joining which is not by the will of man but must be initiated by God, we bear fruit for His house after His kind within our souls. Only this fruit will be honored by Him as being equal to Himself (being without fault and blameless in His sight.)

For as God has so loved the world… giving us His Seed… so do we love God… by bearing His Seed for His Name and not our own.

Col 1v13: Delivered from darkness through translation to another kingdom. How? By what power? God gave power (to accompany His Seed in us) that we may be fruitful in His house bearing offspring within our hearts for Him after His kind. Divine power for divine nature (2 Peter 1:3-4)

Col 1v15 Image and firstborn… setting the pattern for us to follow. Our fruit bears our image which God finds fault with but His fruit bears His image and is pleasing in His sight. Faith MUST therefore be joined in sanctified contact with Him according to the terms set by Him and made known by His apostles who taught the commandments of His new covenant for this joining, fruitbearing, and increase. (Acts 1:2, 2:42)

Col 1v16 All things created by Him but not all things were created for faith. God created all things through Christ but reserved Christ for faith. Therefore when the perfecting of faith is sought in Moses, the shadow of darkness remains and the hypocrisy of the heart stands contrary to grace and truth. We cannot know Him any longer in the shadows because He has now fully manifest Himself to us and stands at the door of the conscience ready to translate us from the shadows of darkness to His glorious light.

This was His plan from the beginning. To provide Himself as the only contact point for this joining and mating to bring forth sons and daughters without fault and blameless in His sight. Christ being the firstborn of many brethren.

Which brings us to vs 17…

Colossians 1:15-16 (S8W Ministries Online Assembly)

The expectation of our hope is sustained by the Lord by the tokens of grace which strengthens us in the time of trouble and contradiction of sinners. The thief comes to steal our fellowship with God by setting fellowship within the distortions of the mind. God draws back the curtain of deception that we may be true to Him, teaching us to separate our thoughts to the covenant terms provided for our faith.

    Feelings of Loneliness and Sadness?

If you are careful to record times and patterns to when feelings of loneliness and sadness come on strongest, you may begin to identify times when it's especially necessary to be ready with a vessel full of faith and reflection. Satan makes his rounds and inflames the passions of the heart. This is common to man. We don't have to fall pray to his whiles. We know that as was draw near to the Lord, the enemy flees from us.

I was reflecting upon that last night and the Lord ministered to me, "My enemies are your enemies for I have made you One with Me through the fruit you're bearing for Me." This drew tremendous faith from my heart. The drawing of faith comes from the power and presence of Christ experienced. This is the Spirit giving life to the knowledge... we don't know Him in word only but in word and in deed. This means by the revealed record we follow and the witness from above sustaining us as we are severed from all those things which the world uses to comfort themselves with.

Those delivered from Egypt were cut off from everything familiar to them and were taken into a barren land where the only source of nourishment was that which the Lord provided.

Water from a rock which they had to wait upon Him for. (There was no self serve pump on the rock.)
Manna from above (which they had to wait on Him for and labor to gather and make preparation for.)
And quail, again... having to wait upon Him and labor to prepare for ingestion.

Why did God do that? He was testing the hearts. "Do you love Me more than these?" Do you love Me more than the leeks of Egypt? Do you love Me more than the houses and shelters you had in the land I've separated you from? Do you love Me more than the normal routines of life which you are lost to you in My presence?

By faith we answer this challenge of truth with patience and longsuffering by remaining steadfast in His presence using only those things the Spirit is presently initiating for faith. These are the sanctified spiritual tokens of His grace by which we now live by faith in Christ. These sustain us in this shadow of the valley of death which those of the world call "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

We know there is only sorrow, loss, death, and destruction under that system of pursuit. We have this knowledge by revelation. The Lord has awakened us to His perspective. The Lord has awakened us to Christ!

Knowing God and Walking with Christ Whom He Sent

Gina Bearfighter shared, "For the cares of this life are bound to the god of this world, but faith is bound to the altar of Christ in the building of the kingdom of God that is to come."

Amen! This bonding is as an umbilical cord sustaining the offspring of the kingdom we are joined too.
This is why false knowledge, even when our desire was to please God, resulted in an increase of that which we didn't want. False knowledge promises to put flesh to death even as iniquity is being nurtured and confidence in early things increases our boast in self. Not at all what we expected. That's why God calls that record a lie and antichrist.

Only the circumcision of the heart, ears, and eyes though faith in Christ brings about death to flesh and then... Because we are separating our faith from darkness by joining faith only to Christ... We experience the old man doing within us as the new man is showing signs of life and growing stronger daily.

We only know Him through this fellowship we have with Him through this process of consecration, working with revelation, and trusting only that which the Spirit is initiating for us to know Him by.... The gifts and tokens of His grace.

Speak with us lest we die

Beginning with Moses, God has continued this tradition of stewardship in every generation.
Exodus  20:19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

God makes known the policy He set for faith through His spoken Word because the written word measure and correct interpretation but stewardship can add we see confirmed shall throughout the Bible.

2 Peter 3:16   As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Who are the unlearned? Those religious minded people who refuse instruction by His covenant apostles. Who are the unstable? Those who profess Christ and sin out of the same mouth.

1 John 2:9   He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

James 3:11   Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

    Foot Washing?

None of the apostles felt the need to repeat the washing of feet. They saw no record for their faith to follow in this act performed by Jesus. Yet today we see people trying to do it in an attempt to align themselves with Jesus and gain some insights into having the heart of a servant.

It was not the physical act of washing feet but the sharing of Holy knowledge that cleansed their thinking... this is what they must receive again today to be washed by His spoken Word. The Spirit works with covenant stewardship... not the letter... not the aspiration.

    River of Light and Life

I saw a vision of a flowing steam of glowing translucent 3D symbols streaming into my eye after praying for wisdom last night at around 9 pm. They had a mother of pearl quality about how they looked. Hard to describe but full of beauty. I watched it with captivated amazement before it ended.

Don't Only Imagine... Taste and See!

I was thinking of a song early this morning too. "I can only imagine." I thought of how this was never the testimony of holy men and women of God. Imagination is never glorified in the scriptures.

The one dimensional imagery presented by Satan sponsored false knowledge seams real and enticing to the eye because the imagination fleshes out the other dimensions to complete the image as we see fit. Truth is perfect and complete within itself and frustrates the imagination by giving it nothing to flesh out.

His Manifold Graces Express the Bouquet of Christ's Virtue

I received the word of knowledge "Bouquet" at 5:08 pm tonight while chatting with Chief Teacher Maria about Teacher Melissa's w/k "One Dimensional". Upon looking the word "Bouquet" up in the dictionary I found these:

a : a distinctive and characteristic fragrance (as of wine)
b : a subtle aroma or quality (as of an artistic performance)

I offered this spiritual sacrifice of praise to the Lord, "His manifold graces express the bouquet of His virtue. "

Upon reflecting on this word of knowledge, Chief Teacher Maria's blog post on wine making came to mind. The qualities of the soil, water and region all play into the bouquet of a wine:

I was sharing these notes with Chief Teacher Maria and she responded, "Amen! Very rich in His virtues. We taste of Him." Praise God!

This brings out a nice example of how our labor with grace through reflection brings forth an increase or multiplication of His grace. This w/k started with the w/k received by Teacher Melissa, "One Dimensional" which she shared. Chief Teacher Maria found that w/k (stewarded through charity) useful when ministering to another saint while also reflecting upon recent things shared by Chief Apostle Eric. While Maria was sharing this with me, the w/k "Bouquet" came to mind (adding to all these other graces being drawn upon) which brought to mind reflection upon her post on the Wine Maker and further reflections upon the quality of His work in our souls and the essence of Christ being experienced by all those who taste and see His goodness (virtue).

While each of these individually was edifying alone... there is a multiplication factor added to them when we labor with them while we also see charity distributing this substance instead of hiding it within an individual vessel where it can nourish only one member of the Body. The Lord gives these gifts to us that we may distribute them to each member even as the heart pumps blood from one location to reach every cell of the body thorough the circulation system. The bonds of charity are the circulation system of the Body of Christ.

This thread of grace flows through charity from His throne throughout the Body as we each labor in faith with every issuance of His grace. It is by this process that we experience the Spirit fitly joining us together as One in Him. Praise God!
