Deliverance Follows Obedience

Deliverance Follows Obedience
Prepare your heart to seek God for obedience that you may observe and do all that Christ has commanded through His holy apostles.
"For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve Him with one consent." (Zephaniah 3:9)

Good Soldiers of Christ

While dining on the spiritual sacrifices being offered on the Altar of Christ by Evangelist Beaudene, the Spirit brought to mind Elisha and his servant being surrounded by an advancing army intending to destroy them. Elisha was seeing with his ears and had confidence reflecting but his servant saw the present circumstances unfolding before his eyes and asked, "What shall we do?"

2 Kings  6:16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Very edifying. Circumstances don't change the record already provided for our faith. We can have confidence to carry out our orders as good soldiers.

2 Timothy  2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

While many seek to serve God as they see fit, God requires obedience to His voice. The Lord had commanded that our activity of faith follows after the record of Christ as revealed by His living apostles.

2 Timothy  2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

2 Timothy 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Drink from the well of Christ's knowledge

As the existence of water cannot satisfy the thirst of those who draw not from it, so also with Grace and truth. Their power is realized in our daily ingestion of them.

As Jesus said, they that follow after Him MUST eat of His body and drink of His blood. His body was broken to provide bread for life eternal (that we may know Him) and His Grace flows as water from His throne to sustain, refresh, enlighten, and illuminate as we walk with confidence in Him.

Awake to Grace and Truth

Yesterday morning, I woke edified by a dream which was in answer to prayer for more understanding about something but the details slipped away while trying to recall them. Feelings of frustration and lost benefit were immediately present and I was aware of them but calling attention to themselves in me but my focus remained on the fact that I woke edified by God answering my prayer with the issuance of His grace.

I reflected with confidence on His ability to minister to me even without my being able to remember the details of the dream at this time. My confidence is rooted in my daily experience with His grace over the last 11 years of keeping covenant with Him. My confidence and reflection remained in Christ and the feelings of frustration and loss had no impact on my faith in Him or in my befitting from His power and presence. The increased understanding will be unfolded by Him as I continue to build with reflection on Christ.

Praise God for providing for the liberation of our faith from flesh to flame by the covenant knowledge of Christ!

Apostolic Truth Makes Necessary Connections for Mobility of Faith

I was reflecting yesterday on how connective tissues which join muscles to bone develop more slowly than muscle does. To avoid injury, both must develop together by gradually working both with resistance training. If you reach beyond, you can be set back for months but if you aren't challenged at all, you cannot grow and will even lose strength.

Truth makes all the necessary connections for mobility of faith and those connections are strengthened by the 3R's of reflection, rehearsing, and reciprocation. We are called to meet every training session with steadfast confidence in Him and how we have been strengthened and sustained by Him in every other session.

We have no need for projection for we have the Witness of God confirming this record we received of Him daily.

Acts 2:42

Continuing Steadfast in Christ

Satan points to the circumstances and asks, do you know what this means??? We look to Christ and our experience in His care and answer the challenge by continuing steadfast in Him.

For the circumstances and needs of the flesh are many but they cannot overshadow the Father of Lights and they have no bearing upon the navigation of our faith. For Christ, our captain, directs our faith with His grace and truth from above as we keep covenant with Him at His altar.

Colossians 1:6-8 (S8W Ministries Online Assembly)

Grace gives the eye long discernment but the carnal minded only see the present need for peace to still the waves of passion resting in their principle as Esau.

If you’d like to come into covenant with God, you have to begin to seek God. You’re also going to have to put aside the barriers of your former traditions and your mindset. You’re going to have to seek Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength if you want to come into covenant with God. His grace will abound towards those who seek Him out of a pure heart. – Apostle Eric vonAnderseck

Two Dogs Fighting Within

I recently heard the philosophy of "two dogs" which says that everybody has two dogs fighting within them and that one is a good dog while the other is bad. They say the one you feed is the one who wins. This is easy for us to relate to naturally.

However... the soul was not designed as a dog fighting ring. Through grace and faith, we experience the taming of our beastly nature and find equity within Christ. We cannot overcome by the philosophies of the world for God has not sanctified them for faith.

Truth is necessary for our overcoming for by it we learn of the true gospel of Christ as we learn how to exercise faith with discernment and walk after the Spirit.

As Apostle John of the First 8th Week wrote: Keep yourselves from idols.

Dying to Self; Crucified with Christ

I was reflecting this morning on dying to self.

Galatians 2:20   I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I thought of how a seed grows. I found this:

Seeds are made up of three parts. The first is the embryo which will grow into the future mature plant. The second part are cotyledons, or seed leaves. These are not true leaves but rather highly nutritious leaves that provide emerging seeds with energy until the time when true leaves develop, ones that allow plants to make their own energy. The third part of a seed's anatomy is the seed coat, or capsule, that protects the embryo and nutritive tissue.

Seeds remain in a dormant state until favorable growing conditions trigger germination. Favorable conditions vary from species to species. Seed coats absorb water. Once water is available in consistent quantities the seed coat loosens allowing the embryo and seed leaves to emerge. If water is not consistent then emerging plants die. (http://www.ehow.com/info_7954468_seed-grow.html)

We are as the seed shell which is only present until growth begins from within the seed sown in our hearts.

Truth provides the seed embryo, experience provides the seed leaves, grace provides the moisture.

Thus, if we don't die to self, the seed cannot grow because moisture is not being absorbed. The seed coat breaks down when moisture is absorbed. So if the flesh remains strong, spiritual growth cannot prosper.

The testimony from above sets the saint apart from the sinner, for the substance from God is eternal while that which is from beneath is common to man.

Faith sustained by God through Christ in Grace and Truth

The Lord supplies daily for our growth in grace and truth. I entered into covenant with God in February 2002. I'm speaking from experience. When faith, hope, and love are set in Christ through His government, truth, and Spirit, we experience the fullness of Christ and increase daily in His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Praise God!

Power for long discernment found in Christ

Evangelist Connie received a vision of a radar and this brought to mind how the military uses radar as a tower was used in biblical times. It provides a further depth and power of perception to detect advancing threats to that which is being protected.

While the military uses this power to scramble a collection of soldiers and artillery to go out and meet the approaching enemy, the faithful use the power of long discernment to run to the altar of Christ who is our refuge.

We know that detecting the movements, patterns, and routines of the enemy does not mean we have power within ourselves to defeat the enemy. Both the eyes to see with discernment and the power to overcome are found in Christ. Thus, we use these powers to abide in Him... Examining ourselves in the light of faith and keeping ourselves ready in and out of season.

Colossians 1:3-4 (S8W Ministries Online Assembly)

The law of the Spirit, being His grace, does not cast down the heart of man, bringing to mind the transgression, but rather confirms the heart of Christ formed by truth, which makes glad the heart in the praise of prophecy.

Is Your Faith IN Christ?

Do you know what takes faith outside of Christ?

Faith is not expecting a positive outcome… everybody hopes for the best. This is common to man not faith in Christ.

Faith is not reading and quoting scriptures… Satan knows the scriptures and quoted them to Jesus.

Faith is not prospering in the goods of this world. The people of the land of Canaan were prospering in a land flowing with milk and honey and yet the Lord set judgment against them

Faith is not in established authority among men, the Pharisees and Sadducees were respected pillars of their community and yet Jesus told them to have faith in God.
Faith is not hearing the voice of God, for God spoke to Cain and to Balaam but they did not obey His voice.

Faith is not in signs, wonders, and speaking of things that come to pass… for the Lord proves the heart for obedience to His plan. (Deuteronomy 13:1-3)

As Jesus said… I never knew you. (Matthew 7:20-23)

Abraham heard the voice of the Lord... and obeyed His voice and the Lord has called him the Father of Faith as one representing this pattern of humbling the will in obedience to the voice of God.
