Deliverance Follows Obedience

Deliverance Follows Obedience
Prepare your heart to seek God for obedience that you may observe and do all that Christ has commanded through His holy apostles.
"For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve Him with one consent." (Zephaniah 3:9)

Colossians 1:1-2 (S8W Ministries Online Assembly)

We live, according to the revelation of the Spirit, that the soul, gaining life and the experience of grace from God, may live in His presence. Faith is thus precious as it is carried by the Spirit.

If you’d like to come into covenant with God, you have to begin to seek God. You’re also going to have to put aside the barriers of your former traditions and your mindset. You’re going to have to seek Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength if you want to come into covenant with God. His grace will abound towards those who seek Him out of a pure heart. – Apostle Eric vonAnderseck

Prayer for the latter rain elders of the second 8th week of righteousness

The Lord upholds the faith of the righteous who stand fast in His covenant care.

The feet of the righteous are set to follow the plan of God according to His purpose, intent, and design.

The light of the knowledge of Christ dispels darkness.

The Spirit of the Lord empowers faith in Christ.

Blessed are they who behold Christ now in His covenant knowledge and spiritual tools for they shall be received by Him with shouts of joy.

For the joy of the righteous is found in the pleasure of God.

Christ is the confession of the faithful while the uncoverted are yet confessors of sin.

As God so loved the world by providing for our redemption within Christ, so let us enter in and abide in Him according to the terms and conditions of His covenant.

International Prayer Assembly (IPA) January 26, 2013

For the glory of the Lord fills His temple in the hearts of the righteous.

For behold, the way of righteousness has been made clear again by the teaching of living apostles prepared and sent by Christ.

Truth remains an elusive mystery to the unconverted believers who seek Him according to their own prejudices and call that faith. "Therefore My people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge" (Isaiah 5:13)

Christ is revealed in truth to those who humble themselves in the power and presence of the Lord's grace.

Faith comes not by the powers of the this world which inflame passions and excite the imagination but by Christ whose power and presence humbles the faithful and brings soberness of mind to our responsibility to obey Him in Spirit and in truth.

Grace draws faith to righteousness and the Spirit seals repentance for receiving instruction that we may walk uprightly in the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the Lord.

Those who preach condemnation are they themselves condemned by God for they stand against His Christ who provides Himself for remedy to all those who believe on Him through the word of His living apostles. (John 17:20)

For the Lord is concerned with faith in Christ. Therefore the carnal minded stumble in His way of righteous.

You have heard it said...

You have heard them say that Christ can be seen in strong family relationships but I tell you that God set the bonds of fellowship within charity which lashes us to the Altar of Christ by His Spirit.

You have heard them condemn you for your attire but I tell you that God provides robes of righteousness to all those who learn of Christ in truth and give their shoulders to the yoke of His holy knowledge at the Altar of Christ.

You have heard them condemn gay marriage but I tell you that God condemns unfruitful contact with Christ through the doctrines of men who search the scriptures but will not join themselves to Him that His life may be formed in them.

You have heard them say that Christians have a duty to challenge government but I tell you that Christ did not come to overthrow the Roman occupation and instead sends forth living apostles providing His holy ordered knowledge and spiritual tools for overthrowing the kingdom of darkness in the hearts of all those who believe.

Come and freely receive instruction in sound doctrine: http://www.s8wministries.org/general.php?id=35

Power necessary to effect change within the heart of Man

I was reflecting the other day about how Adam was not formed by God in these bodies of death. These frail bodies were as garments of the beasts put upon him to function in this world after the curse... After choosing separation from God by leaning towards Satan's alternative counsel to God's commandment.

So then experiencing separation from God was new to him. Experiencing frailty was new to him. Experiencing the substance of iniquity was new to him. Sin was strange to him because he was formed in the presence of God and daily communed with Him in the environment prepared by God (garden) for their fellowship... this had been his common experience.

In contrast, we were born in these bodies of death and in the environment of this world which is now filled with darkness instead of the Shekhinah. So then we were born strangers to God and familiar with sin as the only system we had ever known prior to the awakening of God's grace to illuminate us to the need for Christ.

Our hearts must be circumcised by Him so that we may transition from darkness to light even as Adam had to make the transition from light to darkness. The transition of light to dark wreaked havoc within the soul of Man. We can see this effect in our yards or a field during a drought. In the absence of water, the soil begins to dry out, shrink, crack, and crumble. While it was once profitable for growing grain, now only weeds grow. So also in the soul of Man in the absence of the actual power and presence of Christ.

When looking at what our hearts must be circumcised from, we see that, by reason of sin, we had embraced various philosophies and put our confidence in the use of many tools to find our way in this world. We were able to make logical connections between our desire to advance and increase and these philosophies and tools of our selection. In doing so, we were molding our confidence with these things and being conformed by them. As time went on, we began to show tenacity towards these things in that it proved difficult for us to separate ourselves from them even when we desired to do so.

These philosophies, from the perspective of the throne of God, are called idolatry. This is because there is no life in them. There is a power that works with them to inflame the passions and to excite the imagination with many projections of what could be, but there is no power in them to fulfill the expectations they are setting. While we can imagine anything, the imagination is without power to produce substance. For that we use knowledge and tools to work with another power... if that knowledge and those tools are not issued by God, then the substance will reflect death which is separation from God. This substance of death is known as the fruit of iniquity.

We can identify the source of the power and knowledge being used to produce substance by examining the fruit of making application with them. We see internal conflict, divisions, strife, anger, bitterness, and envy within ourselves and with one another as a result of our working with the wrong knowledge and wrong tools. We shall know them by their fruit (substance). (Matthew 7:16) We know that this was our common experience and we hear this testimony in the lips of both those who identify themselves with Christ and those who don't. This is why the world looks upon religion as hypocrisy. While speaking of another kingdom, the fruit is the same as the kingdom of this world.

Jesus Christ came in the form of flesh to set forth a pattern and path for faith to follow by those who were also in the form of flesh. He provided us with new knowledge and a new power which work with new tools to produce new fruit. And not only producing new fruit, but through His work of purging, scourging, cleansing, and healing, He also circumcises our hearts from the substance of darkness which had been formed within our souls.

The power of the substance which we once found difficult to let go of can only be cut away by the greater power provided from above through the new covenant knowledge and fire of His Holy Spirit. But first, we must transition from molding our confidence with false knowledge, unclean tools, and lesser powers.

Having been illuminated by grace, we know that by our own logic and by resourcing those things which seemed right in our sight, we  wound up experiencing great and horrific unintended consequences. Let us be sure that the results... or substance... or fruit testifies against those things which were were embracing. No matter how much we found favor with those things, they produced substance which is estranged from God and unacceptable in His sight.

Therefore we must now receive the engrafting of His Spirit within our hearts through the SEAL of the Spirit which is evidenced by the prayer language of tongues. This is the new power from above which is the first point of our separation from the world. This is the power from on high which Jesus commanded His apostles to wait for before doing anything else after His death and resurrection. (Luke 24:49) They were not to attempt to evangelize the world apart from this power because without it, their testimony and teaching would be without power.

As the baptism of the Spirit with tongues equips us with the power necessary to effect change within the soul, the Spirit of God will not work with the idolatry we had grown accustomed to. So then our illumination by grace and our having received His Spirit with tongues is ineffectual for fruit bearing until we also receive instruction in the pattern of truth taught by His living apostles. We can understand this by looking at a seed.

A seed contains the pattern from which the tree and fruit grow. This seed must be within the proper environment for growth, supplied with proper nutrients, and exposed to light and water from above. So also with the forming of Christ in us. The knowledge of Christ is the seed which must be sown with our hearts and we must remain in daily contact with the nutrients necessary for spiritual growth. These nutrients are received by daily contact with the grace and truth of God. We are granted access to these through the contact points sanctified by God for our faith.

The transition and the circumcision take place as we begin the process of being converted. We are learning new knowledge through instruction under the oversight of sanctified stewardship. We are not receiving instruction from man but from God for He is ministering the grace to His stewards who are instructing us in His way of righteousness. The source can be identified by the fruit. Those who receive instruction from covenant apostles of Christ experience the power and presence of Christ confirming the knowledge they teach. (Galatians 4:14)

So also, by the Spirit opening their understanding, do they find the Bible confirms the knowledge they are receiving. While they were not able to come to the knowledge of truth by private interpretation, by studying the doctrine taught by living apostles, they are now receiving Christ in truth and are given the eyes of the Spirit to behold Christ clearly as God always speaks with one voice concerning His plan of redemption. (2 Timothy 3:7, 2 Peter 1:20, 2 Peter 3:16)

As we begin to mold our confidence now with this new knowledge, we are learning to work with this new power of the Holy Spirit and growing competent in handling His knowledge and this power... the instruction is necessary for the power to become productive. This is also true with electricity and fire. A child can use either to burn down a house or cause great damage to themselves or others but electricians and chefs can use these same powers to heat a home and prepare a meal... both require instruction to learn how to work with these powers effectively. So also with the Spirit of God which is the divine power necessary for us to take on His divine nature. (2 Peter 1:3-4)

While most see no need for apostles and and many see no need for the baptism of the Spirit with the witness of tongues, their fruit testifies against them. If there is no need for these things, then why aren't they experiencing freedom from sin and abounding in the fruit of righteousness? If they have all that they need apart from these things, why is each embracing a variation of Christ... why aren't they able to speak with one voice? Is it not that they are all working various spirits (powers) and doctrines (knowledge) which is not from above? We see Apostle James addressing this same conflict in the early church in James 4:1-10.

We see that Apostle John of the first century concluded his first epistle with the words, "Little children, keep yourselves form idols. Amen." Those Apostle James was addressing had not given heed to this warning and had began to mix the philosophies of the world into the doctrine of Christ and even a little leaven leavens the whole lump... rendering it ineffectual. For the Spirit of God will not work with error to produce the fruit of righteousness. (1 Corinthians 5:6-7, Galatians 5:9)

Come then, let use assist you in your joy and in learning how to walk with God and have Him take pleasure in the sacrifices of your faith. We have been sent by Him to preach this original gospel again in truth, free from error, so that all those with ears to hear may join themselves to Christ and free themselves from sin.

Overcoming Evil with Good through the Simplicity of Christ

God took the form of flesh to set the record for our faith within Himself that we, who are also in the form of flesh, could follow after Him by faith in Christ. This means that God restricted the power of His own divinity while in the form of flesh beginning with His baptism in the Jordan to His crucifixion on the cross. We follow this same record through our function as priests.

We receive grace daily, we reflect upon the doctrine of Christ and our covenant experience with His manifold graces, and we abide within the framework of His truth by using only those tools which He has sanctified for our contact with Him. This is perfect faith which bears witness to record and resurrection power of Christ. (Acts 1:22) For as we exercise our faith with these things, our faith is indeed sustained by God as we receive His witness from above. (1 John 5:9-10)

As we seek first His kingdom and righteousness through our labor of faith with the doctrine of Christ (12 elements of His gospel) and sanctified tools of His Spirit (Prayer, preaching, prophecy; gifts, callings, graces of God; government, truth, and Spirit), we are opening the gates of our souls to His Light and Life that He may perform His work of cleansing, purging, scourging, and healing within our hearts. There is both a cutting away and a filling taking place as the Lord is applying His healing balm to our hearts through our sanctified contact with Him.

As we are daily giving ourselves over to the use of His tools, we are daily being washed by Him and we are keeping our vessels full of faith. By these things we keep ourselves unspotted by the world even as we live out our daily lives and meet the responsibilities we have in this world. So the key here is that we are daily fulfilling our responsibilities at the altar of Christ through the study of His knowledge and the use of His tools with faith in our hearts.

God does not burden us with a heavy yoke and sustains our faith in Christ. When we allow the cares of the world to overshadow our responsibilities at the altar of Christ, then we have a problem. This happens through neglecting our duties. When we are daily getting into prayer in tongues, studying or hearing the doctrine of Christ, and offering spiritual sacrifices of prophecy we are serving God with perfect faith.

We don't have to try to perform our earthly duties while also functioning in the priesthood of Christ. With some time management, we can get in some prayer and study in the morning, perhaps jot down notes on index cards for reflection throughout the day while taking breaks, we can take a prayer walk at lunch, we can pray and listen to assembly recordings during our daily commute, we can get in more prayer and study after work... we have many options.

If we neglect Christ, the cares of this world will be all we see. If we daily worship Him in Spirit and in truth, we can face the cares of this world without distraction. Know that Christ (knowledge and tools) was given for our function of faith in the Kingdom of God. We don't have to multitask... but we do have to get in our daily labor of faith. (Romans 12:21)

Nehemiah rebuilding the gates and wall

The gates are in the wall. Within the wall is the city. Within the city is the temple. Within the temple is the holy of holies. This was where the Lord communes with His people from off the mercy seat which is upon the ark of the covenant which contained the rod of Aaron that budded, a jar of manna, and the tables of stone upon which the commandments of the first covenant were written.

All of these are types and shadows reflecting Christ from above. The walls of the city are as the body of man. The gates are the senses (eyes, ears, mouth, touch, smell). The temple is to be built within our hearts beginning with the altar of Christ. The altar must be built with the whole stones of the doctrine of Christ. These stones are the 12 elements of the gospel of Christ: grace, faith, righteousness, justification, sanctification, holiness, charity, truth, peace, rest, regeneration, and renewing of the mind.

Within the symbolism of the ark and mercy seat, we see the record and the witness. This is the truth and Spirit of God. Both must be present for faith to be made living by God. Thus our sanctification begins with the baptism of the Spirit evidenced by tongues and our instruction by apostles in the doctrine of Christ. As we receive the engrafting of His Spirit, the witness of tongues, and this instruction from above, we are building the altar of Christ in our hearts.

When the altar of Christ is built within the heart with the whole (uncut) stones, then we have communion with God through the spiritual priesthood of Christ and then He conforms us to the image and likeness of Christ from within (thus rebuilding the temple and city in His image and likeness.) In this we experience the regeneration of the soul and the renewing of our minds.

This is the purpose of God sending forth living apostles as servant-stewards of His holy ordered knowledge. Apart from His active oversight, people take the scriptures into any direction that they find pleasing in their own sight. We see this over and over again in the scriptures and God always restores faith by raising up stewards to restore order to His knowledge. This is also what He's doing today through the restoration of living apostles of Christ preaching and teaching as concerning our responsibility to serve God through the spiritual priesthood of Christ in Spirit and in truth.

God justifies faith in Christ

God justifies faith by His knowledge but the worldly minded justify sin.

Isaiah 53:11   He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

By reason of faith

Blessed are they who, by reason of faith, observe to do all that the Lord has commanded for faith in Christ according to the active stewardship of His living apostles.

1 Samuel  12:7 Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.

The logic of man resists the grace and truth of God and stands against His anointed but the children of His righteousness reason according to His judgments and obey the policy set by Him for faith.

Sinners aren't following Christ

Christians aren't sinners. Christians are those who have been converted from the error of their way which is estranged from the way of righteousness. As Apostle James wrote: "Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins." (James 5:19-20)

The error of their way... this pertains to what Apostle Paul wrote: "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." (Romans 10:3)

They are error from truth by establishing another way for righteousness through submission to the moral code instead of submission to the grace and truth of God which came through Christ.

"For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (John 1:17)

Power for overcoming and fruit bearing through Christ

Recently, I felt the influence of a very strong power stirring up raging emotions in me. I wanted to instead give myself over to Christ and so I began praying in tongues and offering spiritual sacrifices. I could immediately feel that power retreating and the raging emotional response fell flat like a lake after the storm winds pass.

It was so clear that the power in me through faith in Christ was more powerful than the other influence and I paused in awe of such power. I then reflected on how the purpose of the knowledge and tokens of Christ being issued to us is not to chase away unclean powers as a child chasing dogs with a water gun.
The purpose is for us to complete each cycle unto the glory of God through fruit bearing. And so I returned to prayer focused again on the presence of Christ and not upon the effect of His presence on the powers of this world.

1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

James 5:7-10
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Suffering from the absence of Christ

The human soul was designed by God to be filled with the glory and virtue of Christ. The absence of this divine substance causes the soul to suffer greatly. This suffering is often mis-diagnosed by those who lack instruction.

Often, we see people trying to cope with these symptoms through the use of medication. While this may dull the symptoms, it cannot address the underlying problem. The soul is not suffering from a lack of medication. The soul is suffering from a lack of Christ.

As it is in heaven so shall it be on earth

While bringing up a new machine for the first time this week, I noticed how quickly the craftsmen turn their attention back to the engineering drawings when the operation of the machine doesn't match expectations. The function must match the design and both the drawings and end product must bear the image of a single design. In reality as it is on paper.

So also must faith on earth reflect the blueprint and design of Christ who provides for our labor of faith from above so that as it is in heaven, so it is on earth.

The Early and Latter Rain of Christ Jesus

James 5:7   Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

In biblical farming terms, the sowing of seed began a growing season and was followed by the early rain in late autumn which is followed by winter and then the latter rain in early spring which causes the maturing grain to swell prior to harvest. (source reference)

In terms of the weeks of Enoch, the early rain was the First 8th Week which was the time of Jesus' early ministry and the birth of the Church. The seed was sown in the hearts of His apostles in time for the early rain pouring down on the day of Pentecost.

As with farming, the early rain is followed by winter. Enoch prophesied of the First 8th Week being followed by the 6th Week of Darkness lasting 2,000 years. This was also prophetically symbolized by Samson's two eyes being put out and by Moses striking the rock twice (Judges 16:21, Numbers 20:11-12)

Just as with farming, the latter rain follows winter. This is the season we are in now. This is the time prophesied by Enoch as the Second 8th week.

Again from Apostle James, "Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain."

The time of harvest awaits the completion of these three seasons. These mark a single growing season from which the Lord expects fruit for His labor.

The harvest will be followed by the scorching summer season known as the 7th Week of Tribulation... The Lord has provided an Ark for our deliverance. This Ark is the covenant knowledge of Christ being preached again by His living apostles in this, the Second 8th Week.

James 5v1-11 (S8W Ministries Online Assembly)

Those which are faith-challenged replace Jesus’ covenant with the written text and allow religious culture to mold their perceptions. Under the shadow of tradition Satan rules the Bible interpretation which the ungodly call the teaching of the Holy Ghost. Peter labelled this practice and product to be wresting the scriptures which resist grace and seal the soul for destruction called children of wrath.

Trusting and Beholding the Value of Christ Jesus

Trust is set in Christ through the use of His holy ordered knowledge and spiritual tokens for bearing fruit through overcoming. Those who forsake these things have their confidence set in the devices of Men.

While sinners see value only in themselves and those they aspire to, the faithful see value only in Christ. Therefore sinners toil in vain with the wisdom and tools of this world while the faithful labor fruitfully with the knowledge and tokens from above.

Sinners deny this but their conscience testifies against them.

Revelation 3:17-18
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Identifying the Source of Faith

The source of faith can be identified by the tokens being used for the expression of it. Faith is identified by God as being in Christ when the tokens we use are those received by Him from above by His Spirit. (2 Peter 1:3, James 1:17, 1 John 1:4, James 3:14-16)

The Lord Requires Spiritual Growth

Matthew  25:25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.  25:27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

The man who hid that which had been given to him protected it just as sinners protect the scriptures and speak of Him in feigned respect but the Lord does not give seed in expectation of receiving seed back to Him. He requires fruit born from the seed of His provision which requires and understanding of spiritual growth according to the law of the Spirit.

Gospel of our Salvation

Our souls were never designed for separation from the God. This is why God had to change Adam's form from flame to flesh to survive in this world physically. (Genesis  3:21)

But the Lord does not reward us for making the best out of our time on Earth in these coats of skin. The Lord its looking for the reflection of His Light back to Him out of this valley of darkness. (Luke 18:8)

This reflection sought by Him is the reciprocation of faith with the holy ordered knowledge and spiritual tokens provided by Him for faith. These things are issued from above through His government, truth, and Spirit. (Isaiah 9:6, 53:11, James 1:17)

When we recognize Christ by receiving the word of His apostles in submitted obedience to grace, we are fulfilling the prophetic anointing of Jesus' head by the woman with the alabaster box and His Spirit works with the seed of truth to form Christ in us transforming us back from flesh to flame as intended by God for our fellowship with Him. This is the gospel of our salvation. (John 4:24, 17:20, Matthew  26:13)
