Are you growing weary in your struggle against the works of the flesh which bring forth the fruits of iniquity? Do you struggle against the thoughts and driving power towards adultery, fornication, uncleanness, hatred, wrath, strife, envyings, murders, drunkenness and the like? (Gal 5:19-21)
Many read apostle Paul's enumeration of these and strive against them to show forth the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23) But this is not how the apostles doctrine teaches us to overcome through faith in Christ. As Paul wrote, "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." He did not say to strive against the flesh but Walk in the Spirit.
To know what it means to walk in the Spirit and overcome through faith in Christ, you must learn that walking pertains to a form of active agreement (Amos 3:3) and being IN the Spirit has to do with faith being exercised within the boundaries God set in the Covenant of Christ (not Moses). God set boundaries on the expression of faith so that walking in the Spirit would reflect Christ and glorify Him. Apart from the knowledge of the Covenant of Christ in truth, faith gives expression to the flesh and testifies of an endless struggle against iniquity. That struggle does not glorify Christ for that struggle testifies of sin and death which have no more power over those who have been instructed in the spiritual priesthood of Christ.
The wicked of this world embrace and rejoice in the works of the flesh and the power they find in them to influence and bind others.
The unconverted believers of this world strive against the works of the flesh and seek strength in vain through various philosophies and imaginings.
The righteous are those believers who have taken up the yoke of the knowledge of Christ and walking WITH God in the Spirit and have found rest from their past vain labor through the spiritual priesthood of Christ through which they glorify Him daily with offerings of pure praise.
Join us and let us teach you the foundation knowledge of Christ which truly gives spiritual sight to eyes blinded by darkness and raises flesh bound faith from the grave of this world that it may walk upright in Christ's power and virtue!
