Deliverance Follows Obedience

Deliverance Follows Obedience
Prepare your heart to seek God for obedience that you may observe and do all that Christ has commanded through His holy apostles.
"For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve Him with one consent." (Zephaniah 3:9)

Long Discernment

I was reflecting on a recent cycle of growth when the words of the psalmist came to mind, "Until I went to the temple and then I knew their end." The temptation was to recline into the easy chair of the familiar rhythm of nature and long established habits which sometimes feel as if we went into auto-pilot. There is no true rest in giving ourselves over to those although they feel quite comfortable in the moment. By choosing instead to go to the altar of Christ with sacrifices of faith, we are granted the eyes of the Spirit to see with long discernment through the tethering and tutelage of His ministering spirits. From His perspective, we see how those natural tendencies would only contribute to the re-building of that which the Lord is tearing down. We don't want to frustrate His work.

We can see how important it is to reflect upon our knowledge of HOW Christ works healing within our souls. As we keep ourselves mindful of His work and reflect upon His revelations concerning the progression of His care and our growth, we are keeping ourselves mindful of Christ through the assisted ability of His holy angels. Praise God for nurturing and sustaining us as we labor together with Him to increase the substance of His house. As fellow-heirs with Christ, we are also contributing to our own inheritance in Him.
