We take comfort in knowing that we do not follow the rhythm of the world which the world has always spoken evil of. The righteous have a secret confidence in the faith of Jesus Christ (which the world cannot see), not because they have confidence in their interpretation of the bible but because the faith of Jesus is their reality, which is a confidence that is only born of the Spirit as we walk in the record of Christ. We suffer the loss of our principle and aspiration to gain the humble perspective of God. There is no boast in Christ.
